If its sunny... they will come....

The weather is absolutely gorgeous today! It is really a beautiful thing! By 3:30, we had 7 kids in the backyard playing. I really love the fact that the kids come to our house to play. That is something that I think is really a bonus. I get to know my son's friends and see how they interact with them. Boys are really funny. I get a kick out of watching them play. Why is it that all boys end up shirtless or in costume? I may not understand boys but I sure love having them around. Open-mouthed

Greyson Earns his Brown Belt Decided

Grey tested for his brown belt decided last Friday. It was a tough form and he practiced very hard. He did really great. He broke both of his board on the first try. He got to spar against the State Champ (a girl) and an adult. It was fun to watch. Master Rose topped the evening off by taking Greyson down which he loved, of course! I guess boys don't ever outgrow the wrestling! It was a really neat night and we are so proud of Greyson for working hard and staying dedicated to his tae-kwan-do. He will test a few more times but should test for his black belt in December or next March. I can't believe I will have a son with a black belt. cool :)

    It's Grant!!

    Love actually...

Happy Valentines Day. Red heart The boys had a great time sharing Valentines with friends and family. They loved giving and receiving valentine cards and treats.Grant has a special Vcalentine friend from school. Her name is Hannah Victoria and she is a cutie! Greyson chose our neighbor Grace to give a special Valentine to this year. They are sweet friends and he loves hanging out with her. After Greyson's party at school, we met some friends at the playground and played for a long time. The weather was wonderful and we had a great time. It is so cool that I am actually starting to know people when we go places! Yeah! I also surprised the boys heart shaped Krispy Kreme donuts on Saturday morning. They loved it. We also were able to spend some Valen"time" with our family in Granbury. It was fun to see LaLa, GaGa, Gramma and Poppa.

    LIPS- How about a duet?

The nieghborhood kids love our x-box. The boys love the Lego saga games and the girls love the LIPS game. It is a huge hit and even the boys join in every now and then... The biggest fan is our neighborhood sitter. Talisha is the best and she is a great singer too. :)

    Soccer Tots

Grant loves his Soccer Tots class. He really gets into it and has a lot of fun. His two best friends are in his class and they are adorable. By the way, how funny is it that his best friends are "Luke and Bo". I guess we just need a "Daisy".  Funny thing is that we actually know one. :)  Anyway, Grant is loving Soccer tots!

    Neighborhood Kids= FUN!

The absolute best thing about our move is our new neighborhood! When we were looking at houses we really wanted to be on a cul-de-sac so that the boys could ride their bikes, etc. safely. We spend a lot of time outside with our neighbors and their kids. The cul-de-sac provides the perfect party spot for sidewalk paint, ice cream truck visits, bike riding, etc. I can't wait for summer!

    Donuts with Daddy

Neil joined Greyson at Old Union last week for Donuts with Dads... Neil and Grey have such a wonderful relationship and Grey was so proud to bring his Daddy to school. Neil said  that the school was packed with Dads! I love how involved the dads are at Old Union. It is so great for the kids to see their dads invest in their school. Neil has gone to some of the Dad's club meeting and is always impressed with their commitment to making the school even better than it is now. Here is a pic of two of my three boys... cute, aren't they?

Mommas, don't let your babies grow up to be Cowboys...

Grant had "Cowboy" day at school... he was very confused and kept asking why he couldn't wear his "Cowboy" jersey. He has a one track mind and everything comes back  to sports... In the end, he wore his boots and hat but did not seem to thrilled!
