BIG NEWS!

Greyson lost one of his top teeth! He has a new smile! He was so excited that he woke up at 5:30 am to tell us the news. He is already hard at work on the other front tooth now!  Also, Grant is no longer our "Binky Boy".  We got rid of his pacifier a couple of weeks ago and it has been okay. He had really done well and been dealing with things okay until this past Sunday. Neil and I were cleaning out the garage and Grant was "helping". Well, he found a binky on his old stroller! He immediatly put it in his mouth and started sucking away! He stood in the garage for about 20 minutes until we finally had to physically remove him from the binky. Boy, he was so mad. Then of course he cried for his binky that night for awhile. We did not cave in though. :) The funny thing is that when he woke up yesterday morning he had a binky in his bed. I do not know how or where he found it. Hopefully that is the last of the lost binky incidences! We are glad that this milestone is behind us. IMG_0449IMG_0439IMG_0437

How Bout Them Cowboys?

Neil is so happy that Grant will watch the Cowboys with him! Every Sunday they put on their Cowboy shirts and cheer for the Cowboys!IMG_0497IMG_0494

Baylor Homecoming 2007

Neil and I took the boys to Waco for Baylor Homecoming. My roommate and good friend from college still lives in Waco. We enjoyed staying with their family and visiting. On Friday night, we all went to the Bonfire, The kids really liked it. Leslie and Kevin have 3 kids. Jordan is 6, Jaden is 4, and Ryan is 2. The boys loved playing with them. They all got along really well. It is always fun to spend time with the Rheas! We got up early Saturday and headed to campus for the parade. I think it was Neil's first Baylor parade. :) He never seemed to make it to one during his college years. Leslie and I dropped into the new Pi Phi room for a breakfast reunion. My how things have changed! Saturday afternoon we went and watched the game. It was torture. No really! The Baylor Bears need some help in football. My boys were only entertained unitl we cut them off from the food! We spent the 2nd half of the game in the Letterman's lounge...

The highlight of the trip is always a meal at Ninfa's. There is something about the Waco Ninfa's. It is SO good. Apparently everyone thinks so since we waited over an hour to be seated. What were we thinking?? It was good though and the kids were so hungry that they sat and ate quietly!

It was great to back at Baylor. We have a lot of good memories in Waco. We came home and talked about how blessed we were to go to college there.IMG_0392IMG_0393IMG_0397IMG_0398IMG_0402IMG_0410IMG_0419IMG_0423IMG_0424IMG_0432

Star Student

IMG_0287Greyson was chosen as Star Student! It was also Pajama Day. I went up to the school and watched him present his poster.

Oh Yeah, the spider pumpkins...

We also made our own spider pumpkins. The boys painted some pumpkins black and put legs and a face on them. They turned out really cute. We used those fake pumpkins so that we can use them every year. They LOVED using the paint. IMG_0095IMG_0097IMG_0098IMG_0099IMG_0100IMG_0104

Kindergarten Fairy Tale Ball

Greyson's school hosted a fairy tale ball a few weeks ago. It was very cute. The teachers and prinipal also dressed up so the kids loved it! Greyson was Captain Hook. I was thrilled to get some use out of an old Halloween costume. :) IMG_0124IMG_0133IMG_0135IMG_0136IMG_0139

I am way behind on my blog...

Here is a summary of our fall activites...
Grant's preschool class went to the pumpkin patch. It started his fascination with pumpkins. He literlly became obsessed with holding pumpkins, going to see pumpkins, trying to throw and kick pumpkins, etc. It was quite funny and cute.

Neil and took the boys to the BIG ORANGE PUMPKIN PATCH in Celina. I have been going there for 10 years and let me tell you these people are making some cash! It has really changed since I took my kindergarten class there. They have become a serious business. Crazy that you can make a living off the income of one month a year!

We carved pumpkins with our neighbors. Merritt, Holland, Beckett and their parents all came over one Sunday night for pizza and pumpkin seeds. It was a lot of fun.

We went to Fall Festival at our church. It was great. Miss Josie was there to hang out with us. The kids love her and so do we! She and Greyson had fun jousting each other! Grey was Anakin Skywalker and Grant was Yoda.

The boys also decorated their own pumpkins with Mr. Potato Head parts. Grey made a pirate and Grant made a clown (kind of).
