October 27 GoodBye to the BakersOur very good friends, the Bakers, moved to Austin on Friday. Greyson and Kaitlyn brought our families together when they were 9 months old! We have some really great memories of the two of them together. Grant and Kylie also formed quite a neat little friendship too. We loved doing things together as families. Bryan and Keri are a lot of fun and we will miss all of them.
To Bryan, Keri, Kaitlyn and Kylie,
We will miss you all so much but we know that you are going to LOVE your new home in Austin. We have loved sharing these past 6 years with you. Your girls so are so precious to us and we love them! We look forward to time together in Austin and wherever we meet up to continue the fun. Here are some of the photos that I have set aside for the "Wedding Rehearsal Dinner" slideshow... We have 2 chances of marriage so surely one on them will work out. :)
Grant finished up his first soccer seasonGrant and Neil had a great first season of soccer. The games were a lot of fun and the kids loved the fun games Neil played with them at practice. Neil was truly an awesome coach. He is SO PATIENT!! The team got better each game and Neil managed to get every kid out there and more importantly to STAY out there We did not have many kids that were really into playing but they are made progress which is all we could ask for at age 3! All in all, Grant learned a lot and so did Neil. Go LIONS! Go GRANT PATRICK!!
Custest Cousins In the Packed PatchWe decided to do something CRAZY and go to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday. Not Smart- But Fun for the kids! Seriously, this place was nuts. I will never go again on a Saturday but we really wanted to take all 4 kids at the same time so....
October 14 I love, love, love October! We have been really enjoying the wondeful fall weather this week! Grant is still enjoying playing soccer with Daddy as his coach. Greyson is LOVING his new school. Last week they had Old Union Day and Farm Day. Old Union Day is really neat. The kids all have to dress like th pioneer days. The day was really all about life in the days of digging for gold, using a washboard, etc. Greyson really loved it and he learned a lot. Neil went up for the picnic lunch since I was at CANTON with my Frisco friends. I love Canton. Anyway, Grant also had his first field trip. We went to the pumpkin patch it was a lot of fun. The boys and I spent Columbus Day weekend at my parents home in Granbury. The boys absolutely love going to Granbury. They were so excited to help Poppa chop wood build a fire and they love making s'mores too. Greyson helped make breakfast on Sunday morning. He made his first bath of Greyson. Greyson even got to ride in my mom's step brother's really fancy and totally awesome 1970 red Stingray convertible. My mom has those pictures so I will post them later. BUT HE LOVED IT! We had a great time. While we were gone, Neil set up our new trampoline. It was super fun to surprise the boys when we got home. They were thrilled!. |
