    Happy Birthday Olivia Leigh!

On this day 6 years ago, my precious neice was born. I remember the day like it was yesterday. She was my first neice and my first little girl to buy all the pink, girly, precious things! Olivia (Liv) is a wondeful, well-mannered, beautiful little girls and we all love her very much. She is all girl and is so loving to little Grant. She has learned to hang tough with Greyson and Preston. Poor thing is surrounded by boys when she is with our side of the family. Liv looks so much like my sister and has the same sweet, generous heart too. Happy Birthday to my sweet Liv... Look how precious you are

    Great Wolf Lodge

We kicked off the new year with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. We joined the Hendrick family and my parents in the 3 day adventure. The kids LOVED the water park and eventually figured out the Magi Quest. Neil and I were a little surprised by how expensive it was but hey, "It's the holidays!" We will wait to go back when it is warmer for sure. The water was pretty cold... Mommy only got in a few times but I did ride every slide by the end of the trip. Daddy was a real tropper and endured hours of dumping water on peoples heads and riding slides over and over!

    Family Arrives

Neil and I were thrilled to be able to host the Smith family Christmas this year. Over the course of  a few days we had around 20 people here. It was so nice to see everyone and enjoy some play time. We played a lot of games, opened a ton of presents, and ate! We also celebrated 3 birthdays. Preston, LaLa and our newest addition Karola (Blake's girlfriend) all have birthdays on the 26th and 27th so we don't want to leave those out. The kids received many wonderful presents too. Greyson was so surprised to get a Nintendo DS from my parents! He did not put it down for 3 days. We know have DS rules. :) Grant loves his new balls and Geotrax. Christmas is such a special time of year and we are so blessed to be able to share it with such a wonderful family

    CHRISTMAS morning!

Santa managed to find us and he left all kinds of goodies. Each boy recieved a new bike and Legos. He also left a Bolt X- Box game, some art stuff, a new football, baseball and glove, and other little things. He filled the stocking with new tootbrushes, toothpaste, band-aids, and vitamins! It was a lot of fun to watch the boys' reactions to all they received. We also opened presents! The boys were so thrilled to get new computers and other little things. Santa got Mommy some photography classes and got Daddy a radar detector.... hum.  We had a great time and had fun playing with all our new things all day

    Christmas Eve

Well, Christmas Eve in our new home went pretty well... We missed going to our old church but really enjoyed trying out the Christmas Eve service at Grant's Preschool Church. We have been  visiting several churches and have not decided where we will officially join. We really like Compass Christian though so we chose to go there for this important family tradition. It was great. The praise and worship team is truly amazing. The boys had fun and Grant loved seeing his teacher singing on stage. The only hitch in the evening was when the paster invited all the kids to join him on stage. Grant always has trouble sitting for over 5 minutes so he decided to pick at the poinsettias and stand up and wave, etc. He made it through but not before Neil and I had to give him "the look" several times. :) After church, we set out cookies for Santa, reindeer food and Neil read "Twas the Night before Christmas" to the boys. We all got ready for Santa to visit our new home. He came!

    Christmas with the Moore Side

We celebrated Christmas with Neil's family the weekend before Christmas. We had a great time and enjoyed celebrating our 2nd Christmas with our Kinnon cousins. Grant got his much anticiapted digital art studio and Grey scored some Indiana Jones Legos! They were happy!

Greyson earns his BROWN belt in Tae-Kwan-Do

Greyson tested for his brown belt right before Christmas and he earned it! We were very nervous and he worked very hard. It is his first testing at the new school and it was in front of the entire school. He has never had to test in such a high stress environment before plus his form was really hard. Honestly, I was not sure if he was going to make it but he practiced and worked and practiced and worked... He did a great job and we are very proud of him.
